All of Lafayette City Park and the restrooms at Key Park and Winding Stairs Park will be closed from Friday October 30, 2020 until Friday November 13, 2020. At that time we will access the virus numbers and determine if we feel it is safe to reopen these public facilities.
We are sorry for the inconvience.

Please remember that the playgrounds will remain closed due to CDC guidelines after the June 1st opening date on the remainder of the park facilities.

  We have 3 recreational parks in Lafayette: Lafayette City Park, Key Park and Winding Stairs Nature Trails. Our City Park offers 2 pavillions with restrooms and picnic areas, playground, volleyball, basketball, tennis courts and in the summer a public swimming pool. The Key Park has a band stand, pavillions with picnic area and restrooms, playground and a walking trail.  RV sites are also available at Key Park, click here to view site area. The Winding Stairs Nature Trails offer hiking trails down to the waterfall and a pavillions with picnic area and restrooms. The pavillions at any of our parks may be reserved by calling Lafayette City Hall At 615-666-2194

Pool season passes are available at City Hall,  per person or for a family of 2 adults and 4 children.

Public Pool Opens Sunday May 30, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.
Admission is $5.00 a day.

Swimming lessons at the pool are $5.00 and will allow you admission for the pool that day.
Lessons will be given from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. as follows:
Ages 6 and under June 7-11                          
Ages 7 and up  June 14-18   

Private lessons are available by appointment.  Please call (615) 666-4185 if you are interested in scheduling one-on-one lessons for your child with one of our lifeguards. 

Pool Passes for the 2021 season are available at City Hall. $100 for an individual pass,  $200 for a family pass-2 adults and up to 4 children who reside in the same household.  If you have any questions on these please call 615-666-2194

Pool Parties
All parties will be booked through City Hall ,615-666-2194,  starting Monday June 1st at 8:00a.m. Full payment is expected at the time the reservation is made. There are no refunds unless the party has to be cancelled by the pool managers due to inclement weather prior to the party time, at that time you may receive a partial refund.
$125 for two hours,6:00-8:00p.m.  Includes three lifeguards.

Monday - Friday 12 noon to 5 p.m.
Saturday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
